Yes, all parents get frustrated. Children take a lot of time and energy. Parenting is even harder when you have problems in your own life, such as worries about your job, your bills or your relationships, or problems with alcohol or drugs. To be a good parent, you have to first take care of yourself. That means getting help for your problems.

Raising a family is challenging.
That's why at Healthy Place Counseling we offer a positive parenting class open to the community, free of charge. Classes are every Thursday from 6:30pm-7:30pm. We work on: • Building Positive parenting skills to help strengthen your family • Improving communication • Developing self-esteem as a parent and in your child • Any topics of interest to the group, including specialized info on request

At Healthy Place Counseling, we are dedicated to providing quality mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, couples and families, regardless of race, color, creed, nationality, or sexual orientation.
